Green Street scheme under way

Work is now well under way on the 38-house Green Street scheme being delivered in The Meadows by Blueprint.
The £8 million development started on site in January, and the first 13 homes are due to be completed by autumn of this year, with final completion expected by spring 2011.

Bulwell joint service green light

Bulwell's new £22 million one-stop shop, bringing together city council, health and housing services, has been given the go-ahead.

Contracts have been signed by Nottingham City Council, NHS Nottingham City, and Greater Nottingham Local Improvement Finance Trust Company Limited (LIFTCo) to deliver the centre in the heart of Bulwell.

"Everybody benefits" from Science City

Science city status is a "win-win situation" for many organisations involved in Nottingham's regeneration, according to Jo Derbyshire, operations manager at the University of Nottingham's Innovation Park.
Speaking exclusively to Nottingham magazine, she said: "Science City status is very prestigious; we're very proud of it, and it enables invaluable networking between the cities and the sharing of best practice."
