Science city status is a "win-win situation" for many organisations involved in Nottingham's regeneration, according to Jo Derbyshire, operations manager at the University of Nottingham's Innovation Park.
Speaking exclusively to Nottingham magazine, she said: "Science City status is very prestigious; we're very proud of it, and it enables invaluable networking between the cities and the sharing of best practice."
Derbyshire's thoughts on the myriad benefits of Nottingham's Science City status can be read in full in the talking heads feature included issue three of Nottingham magazine.
The piece also includes input from Neil Horsley, chief executive of Nottingham Development Enterprise; John Long, development director at Blueprint; Bio City marketing manager Miranda Knaggs and Chris Rudd, pro vice-chancellor at the University of Nottingham.
