The success of the second Invest in Nottingham day, which took place last month, means the event looks set to become a firm fixture on the calendar.

Around 240 property professionals from up and down the country headed to Nottingham city centre for the event, where they were treated to an examination of what has already been achieved as well as the city’s vision for future development.

The tour began at award-winning venue Nottingham Contemporary, where director Alex Farquharson said: "Nottingham is the fourth largest centre for creative industries in the country. We think we have a role at the spearhead of the new Nottingham, raising its reputation nationally and internationally."

After sampling the delights of Nottingham's new arts hub, delegates were treated to a day of events and presentations focusing on regeneration achievements and investment opportunities in Nottingham. Starting with bus tours showcasing schemes such as ng2, The Hub, Meadows Gateway and the the 54,000sq ft office devleopment at Southreef, the day included a behind-the-scenes demonstration of Alliance Boots' CSR programme.

The tour is described in detail here.
